I am honoured, as your Member of Parliament,  to be here with you to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Taoist Tai Chi Society here in Kitchener Waterloo.
 
It is often said that volunteers are the backbone of every community and this is certainly true in Kitchener, and especially true here today.  Your entire organization is built on volunteerism and I understand that Canada has the largest membership of all the national branches.  We, as a nation, are especially fortunate.
 
I would also like to make mention of your efforts to promote health and well being within our seniors community and the many other organizations that you assist.  You do an outstanding job.
