Teachers Institute on Canadian Parliamentary Democracy Applications for November 2012
 
We are pleased to announce that the Library of Parliament is currently accepting teacher applications for the 16th annual Teachers Institute on Canadian Parliamentary Democracy to be held November 4 to 9, 2012.
 
The Teachers Institute has established a reputation amongst Canadian educators as an excellent professional development opportunity.  Since teachers in your constituency may be interested in participating, you might wish to inform them of this year’s dates and application deadline: April 30, 2012.
 
Teachers are encouraged to apply online.  Program information, including photos, participant testimonials, and application forms, is available on the Teachers Institute website, at   www.parl.gc.ca/teachers .  
 
Attached is the electronic program brochure describing the Teachers Institute and a copy of
a camera-ready ad that will soon be appearing in education publications across the country.
The House of Commons Printing Services has a copy on file, should you wish to include
it in your householders or mailings.  Copies of the brochure will also be sent to your constituency and Hill offices.  Please feel free to circulate.
